We will see sun and showers on this spring weekend.
The March equinox is this Saturday at 2:38 am.
Showers will ease off on Friday and we see the prospect of a few sunny breaks in the afternoon behind a frontal system.
However this scenario will also bring us the slight risk of isolated thunderstorms in our region Friday afternoon and evening.
Partly sunny conditions will be in store on Saturday between weather systems, but another wave of moisture will move inland on Sunday with more showers.
Daytime highs will remain near or above seasonal over the next few days.
Expect afternoon temperatures between 8ºC and 12ºC.
