Weather with Wesla: Staying below seasonal through the weekend

Our mid-April weekend will be on the chilly side under a cool air mass.

Expect variable cloud through the weekend with just a slight chance of showers for Friday and Saturday as a weak system moves inland.

A stronger push from the south will bring us a higher chance of precipitation for Sunday.

If you are travelling on the mountain passes this weekend, note that it will be cold enough for snow, especially if you are heading east into the Kootenay region.
