Weather with Wesla: Sun for the first day of school

The sun will be back in time to greet the little ones heading back to school on Tuesday. Remember to slow down for the school zones and remind the other drivers in your home. 

After a system rolled through last night with clouds and a few showers early this morning through parts of the valley, we will now start to see a drying and warming trend. Sun and cloud will return throughout the day. We will be in between systems over the next few days - enjoy the September sun, and temperatures will be in the low to mid 20's through midweek.

As of 6:30 a.m., it's 13°C under mainly cloudy skies with rain falling in some parts of the city. The air quality index is currently at 1 and forecast to rise to 3. The UV index is currently at 0, but expected to reach 5 today. The pollen index is low.
