The first weekend of October will see a typical fall weather pattern with sunny breaks between cloud periods and showers.

Although we will lack any significant organized weather systems, pockets of precipitation moving inland will keep intermittent isolated showers in the forecast.

With freezing levels between 1500 metres and about 2000 metres, snow on mountain passes will be a possibility this weekend.

Daytime highs in the valley will be seasonal - expect afternoon temperatures to be near the mid teens.
