A persistent northwesterly flow aloft will keep valley showers and high elevation snow in the forecast this weekend.

On Friday we can expect an increasing risk of valley showers with the biggest potential after dark.

We will be in between systems on Saturday and we will see our best chance of sun during the first half of the weekend.

There is still some uncertainty for Sunday as a system may brush our region, however forecast confidence is low at the time of filming this video.

Daytime highs will be in the upper single digits or low teens through the weekend.
