It’s another cool morning in Kelowna, but it will warm up as the day goes on.

This morning’s clouds are expected to clear by afternoon when sunny breaks will bring temperatures over 10 degrees.

After a damp couple days, a new weather system will push much of that precipitation out of the valley on Wednesday.

"More clouds to start but expect a mix of sun and cloud by midday," explains NowMedia meteorologist, Wesla English.

"High pressure will remain over the Pacific, keeping any significant precipitation away over the next several days. Expect morning cloud and afternoon sun from now until the weekend."

Environment Canada is forecasting wind gusts of up to 40 km/hr by this afternoon and a high of 13.

Temperatures will dip again this evening with a low of 2 and a risk of frost.
