Okanagan residents enjoyed a beautiful, sunny day on Friday. More sunshine is headed to the valley, but it could bring a few clouds this weekend.

Due to an unstable weather pattern moving through the area, Kelowna could see a mix of sun and clouds on Saturday and Sunday, according to meteorologist, Wesla English.

"As long as this upper low stalls over the Pacific Northwest, we will see very little change in the forecast," said English. "Continue to expect sunny breaks between very isolated light flurries with daytime highs near freezing."

Today, expect a high of 8 C and a low of -2 C with a 30% chance of showers in Kelowna.
