Kelowna will see a bit of rain to start this hump day.

It will clear up a bit as the day goes on, but there is a risk of the showers returning later this afternoon and they could bring some thunder and lightning with them.

“The lawns will appreciate the wet start to the day when a weather system advances into the province,” says Wesla English, NowMedia meteorologist.

“Although the rain will ease off by midday, showers with the risk of thundershowers will remain a threat in the afternoon, especially if we see any sunny breaks.”

It’ll be a bit cooler than it was on Tuesday, with temperatures topping out around 20°C today.

However, the warmer weather is set to return for the weekend, so we can look forward to that!

Have a wonderful hump day, Kelowna, we’ve hit the halfway mark of the week.
