Evacuees who sought refuge in Kamloops are slowly being allowed to head home. The Thompson Nicola Regional District has partially rescinded a number of evacuation orders as of Friday, but areas remain on evacuation alert.

The TNRD has issued updates for the following areas:
All properties west of Highway 97 that were previously on order are now on alert and properties immediately bordering the east side of Highway 97 previously on order are also on alert. The Highway 97 travel corridor is now open from the southern boundary of Bonaparte Indian Reserve up to and including the intersection of Highway 97 and Highway 24.
