More snow is expected for much of the British Columbia southern interior Friday.

Environment Canada has snowfall warnings in place for Highway 3, the Coquihalla Highway, the Sea to Sky Highway and the South Klondike Highway.

Between 15 to 20 centimetres of snow is still expected for the Coquihalla Highway from Hope to Merritt and Highway 3 from Hope to Princeton through Allison Pass.

Snow will be heavy at times this morning with another 5 to 10 cm of snow in the cards.

Snow will likely change to rain mixed with snow near noon.

Drivers are urged to adjust their driving with changing road conditions. Rapidly accumulating snow is expected to make travel difficult and visibility may be suddenly reduced at times in heavy snow.

If you’re travelling, road conditions are available on the DriveBC website.
